for everyone
i agree most with this, which is why im reposting. jun lozada is certainly not a good man, but he is the herald of truth amid a sea of lies. which is why he became such an important person, and which could just be his saving grace in these trying times. which is why he becomes such a hero figure. i hope the celebrity shit youre getting doesnt get to you. youre the only ears and eyes we have to a truth that's so precious, a truth that only you seem to be able to feed to the countries stomachs. take care of yourself, jun lozada.

care for some politics?

i am inclined to believe that
the underdog's side of the story
is closer to that of the truth.

it is not the story of a hero
selflessly sacrificing himself
on the altars of investigation,
the tortures of stupid queries
for the sake of this nation.

it is the story of a cornered man -
surrounded by cameras and guns -
with no other face to wear
except that which is real.

i am convinced that lozada is not a selfless man
nor is he tremendously principled as all rave he is.
but he is, nonetheless, with the truth
or at least close to it.

and that's all we need right now honest and brave people.
so that even if his kind of honesty is not what we need
(since his bones and face are corrupt and just wish to push the blame away),
we go crazy and build a sensation or saint out of courageous self-preservation.
(yes, the last words are an oxymoron -
but it takes a brave man to kill for the sake of self-defense
to remain innocent in spite of murder)

Hmmm... Whoever said that whatever comes from Jun Lozada's mouth is the truth? He's an oversized puppet of those who want GMA out. He has a glint tongue, an excellent business man, yes, but is he indeed, bearing the truth? I don't think so. He has tripped many times. Dozens of inconsistencies with the things he's saying. Hmmm... I think you should read the entry I'll be posting later.

yeps, i know. he may or may not be telling the truth. whatever "truth" there is in what he's saying, it's what we do with it that really matters.. I'm glad you're looking for it. Look for it well.

haha! (wait, I'm not sure kung UP ka.) pero kitang-kita naman sa UP socio-politics na iniirapan na lang mga aktibista nowadays. Ahaha! So, it's more like, you sound like an akitbista lang. Wag na nating lagay "from up".

whooops. sorry for offending anybody. errr, yeah taga-up ako so medyo sanay na ako sa usual "oust-that-american-puppet-fascist-whatever" slogan nila. I was going for humor :p

Pero yeah. Being aware's great! :D

alam niyo, parang you're discouraging his quest for truth. when he should be motivated enough to inspire people to do the same! bakit masama magtanong? maniwala at umasa sa mga baka sakaling totoo?

it's true we have to sit down, analyze, and listen. and we are doing that. we have reason to believe that he is telling the truth. the only reason you have is that you doubt him, that his word isn't enough.

i guess, for me, i'm still hoping in the goodness that may be in jun lozada. because if we don't continue to believe that there STILL remains a goodness in every person, that he just has to dig down deep and find it... then where will we be?

as of now, im for his PROTECTION, if he IS being threatened. because he apparently has a lot to say. let him speak. but don't tell us that we're following his words blindly, because we're not dumb. we know how to sit down, analyze, and listen, too.

and it's not even about pGMA anymore. like dino said, it's about uncovering the truth.

and why does everybody put such a bad connotation on the word aktibista? hay, life.

p.s. sorry dino, di ako makatiis eh.
